Writer/Director: Saqib Mausoof has written and directed Kala Pul as a stage play. His documentary Hansot by the Bay was shown at KaraFilm Festival 2005, he serves on the board of Third I, an organizer of the South Asian Film festivals and as an actor has performed at the acclaimed Berkeley Repertory Theater as well as Theater Artaud. He is working on his second script, ‘The Brown Conspiracy’. He is a member of Filmarts Foundation and Theatre Bay Area.

Director of Photography: Markus Huersch (DoP for The Little Terrorist nominated for an Oscar for Best Short film in 2005). He completed studies at the London International Film School in 1998. In the following 2 years, he worked as a camera assistant, did further training (e.g. Kodak Masterclass Scholarship with Vilmos Szigmond) and several filmlets. In the year 2000, Markus moved into cinematography commuting between England and Switzerland. filming commercials and music videos for UK, Switzerland and SouthAfrican based productions companys. Most recently Markus has completed work on a feature film shot in foothills of the Himalaya called The Forest, and Indian-American production produced by Judith James.

Associate Producer: Bryan Adamson attended USC’s School of Cinema and worked for Santa Monica Studios (the parent company of VisionArt who created visual effects for Independence Day and Godzilla). 

Producer: Muder Kothari is a successful entrepreneur who has incubated several hi tech companies like Cavium and Luminous networks. He is associated with several Silicon Valley based VC networks. His expertise lies in finance, operations and logistics. His film interests include stage and independent films.

Cameraman: Emmanuel Suys is an accomplished assistant photographer to various award winning photographers, as well as a location hunter and location manager for productions in the advertising, editorial and documentary field. He has worked on International projects like Road to Ladahk as well as commercial projects like the 100th Anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). He is a member of Camera Assistant of the German Society of Cinematographers.

Production Manager: Danial Mausoof is production and logistic consultant based in Karachi. He is a graduate of Arizona State Business school with a minor in Film, and has been involved in film production in US and in Pakistan. Committed to deadlines and the ground realities, he has a tight grip on schedules, planning and implementation. Currently he leads the informational technology initiative at Total  Group.

 Art Director: Ali Mumtaz is an Art Director at Y&R Advertising and an instructor at SF Academy of Art. With a portfolio covering ten years of experience, Ali has art directed a large number of TV commercials and has won many coveted awards for his work, including Clios, Communication Arts and San Francisco Show Gold.

 Assistant Director: Siraj-ul-Haque is a Program Producer/Director Eveready Pictures, Karachi. He has seven years of practical experience of working on the ground in Pakistan for local and international film projects. He has directed a number of telefilms and drama serials and worked as the  2nd Assistant Director on Silent Waters (Khamosh Pani) which won the best film award at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

Line Producer: Ashok Malani is an actor/producer based in San FranciscoBay area. His work includes a feature film Khanda, stage plays and voice talent for educational program concerning spread of AID in the Asia. He is the founder of Coco ACT which provides production management software for theaters. He is a member of CETA (California Educational Theater Association).

Language Consultant: Maheen Mausoof Adamson started the Los Angeles chapter of Third I film society which screens South Asian independent films. She was a co producer  and casting director on several short films and is credited with screening the first digital feature length movie, The Long Night, in the US. She is currently organizing a documentary film festival focusing on social and geopolitical issues in Pakistan and frequently performs on stage when she is not conducting post doctoral research on effects of bilingualism on the aging brain at StanfordUniversity.

Overseas Production Consultant: Maheen Zia is an independent film maker in Pakistan and is the founding member and current organizer of The KaraFilm festival, held annually in Karachi. She is part of the Visual Arts faculty at the University of Karachi. Maheen has directed documentaries such as “Aaj Bazar main”, “The People vs. Lyari Expressway”, and “Saving Farzana”; short films such as “Baba Snooker”, and “Doctor”; and edited the feature film “Raat Chali Hai Jhoom Ke (aka The Long Night)”. She has served as a Juror on Tampere Film Festival 2006 in Finland and Tehran International Short Film Festival 2005 in Iran.
